About LoganNest

One person helping homeowners understand home warranty plans before a furnace, fridge or washer quits on them.

Why this exists

Plain Answers for Broken Things

Technician tightening a screw on a household appliance

I started LoganNest after watching friends sign up for a home warranty plan without ever reading the list of covered items. They only found the gaps once the dryer stopped heating or the furnace refused to light on a cold night.

So I keep my focus narrow. I help you see which systems and appliances a plan names, which ones it leaves out, and how a service request moves from the moment something breaks to the moment a technician shows up.

Every note sent here is read by me and answered by me.

What Guides My Replies

The Wording Comes First

Before I say anything about an item in your home, I look at what the plan agreement actually says about it.

A No Is Still an Answer

If something sits outside a plan, I tell you plainly so you can plan around it instead of finding out later.

You Set the Pace

Nothing here runs on a countdown. Ask as many questions as you like before you decide anything.

Upkeep Is Part of It

I share small habits, like clean filters and clear vents, that keep your equipment healthy and your requests solid.

Who I help

Homeowners Who Want Fewer Surprises

Most people who reach out to me live in the house they own and lean on the same handful of systems every day. Here is how I tend to help each of them.

First Time Buyers

The appliances came with the house and you have no idea how old they are. I help you sort out what a plan could list for them.

Owners of Older Homes

Your water heater and furnace have seen plenty of winters. I explain how a plan treats parts that wear down with use.

Busy Households

Laundry and dishes never stop at your place. I show you how a request works so a breakdown does not stall the week.
